My name is one of my favorite things about myself, probably my favorite tbh. I was supposed to be named after my mom, Emily, who worked at a hospital while pregnant with me. One day an old man she was caring for told her that if I was named after her I would inherit all of her bad luck, which my mom believes she has a lot of. She paid my dad a thousand dollars to come up with a name other than Emily, seriously. My dad claims the only other name that ever came to mind was Summer. He says he has no idea why but Summer just stuck the second he thought of it and there were no other options in his mind. And now here I am :) I was born 3 days before the Summer Solstice, on June 18th. I think my name fits my personality a lot and my favorite thing in the world is being asked my name and being able to reply with Summer !!! YES!!! I am the time of year everyone waits for!! The time of year everyone relaxes, takes vacations, responsibilities like school are out of the window, theres fireflies and fireworks and flowers and ice cream. It's pretty ironic that I enjoy dark things but I've always been like this, and I still appreciate how cute my name is, suprisingly I prefer it to autumn.
